Guys, we've all got it and we're all getting yanked! Dave_rsb, you got the new pipe and got screwed. I got a BRAND NEW MOTOR AND GOT SCREWED!!!! My service manger said that they won't do anything else. He won't even try a new pipe. He said that ford is done with me. They tried the new motor and won't do ANYTHING ELSE. They offered to take my truck in trade and put me in a diesel for a few extra bucks, but the PSD is WAY TO LOUD and SMELLY!!!! After driving a few of the smokers I can see why there is a good market in sound insulation for the cab! Anyway, the service manager said the ONLY WAY to get rid of flutter is headers.
Damnit! I want the banks kit but I'm trying to get my kid to college. What do you do?

My 99 had the flutter when new and the addition of Flowmaster duals from the cat have eliminated it. Lots of V10's here in my area have done exhaust mods for less than $400 to fix what the Ford service guys says is an "OK" noise. I have been pleased with the mod.

Truckin4- how does your Lund Wipercowl fit? i tried 3 different Lunds and they all were really tight and cracked.

You shouldn't be screwing around with the dealer. You need to go higher up. For example my cable modem wouldn't work and no technician could fix it, after so much aggrivation and calling I demanded for the CEO of Cablevision number, spoke to him and he got the job dont plus I got couple months for free and everything. Screw the dealer, go higher up!!

How many 18 year olds can afford a brand new truck? Damn, boy (V--10 Power)! When I was your age I drove a two-tone (brown primer on red primer) Bronco with about a million miles on it that I paid $1000 for! You must either have a great job, or be rubbin' bunions for some rich old lady up there in Jersey!

Actually you could say Im self imployed. Alot of people in the forum "General Questions" seem to be pretty jealous and I don't know why, I had to work for this truck also.
