Gas price...back in the .82 cents range in Houston

Just the monthly gas gloat. The Costco and now Sam's running .82 for regular. This was 11 days ago. I'll top off my tank (still have 3/4 left) before I head out of town tomorrow.

That's a little suprising - Houston had been about 5 cents/gallon more than Austin. Here in Central Texas, the HEB and Race Track are selling it for 95 cents/gallon.

That's awsome!!!! I wish it only cost me $25 to fill up my tank, I'd drive everywhere I could! Gas at Costco here in the Bay Area of California is around $1.19 a gallon. Which in itself is great compared to what I was paying a year and a half ago when I was in Northern California, the highest it ever got there was $2.15 a gallon (that's for 87 octane!). At that rate it use to cost me over $70 to fill up, and on a college budget that meant I wasn't driving very much!

It is frustrating to see good prices like that! I am paying $1.17 where I live and 30 miles down the road it is $1.08!! This is in the same state!
