Re: GAS TANK UPGRADE (sorry diesel people)

There is a new category of this forum titled "Gas Engines." It is specifically for topics relating to gas engines. You may choose to delete this topic and repost it in the gas section. However, the question you ask really relates to all SuperDuty trucks...both gas and diesel. That being the case, you could simply edit the post and don't mention anything about gas! The fact that you mentioned the word "gas" & "V-10" puts it into another category.

In answer to your question, the topic of aftermarket gas tanks has been brought up numerous times before. Try doing a search on the subject and I think you will get the answer you need. I do not think the 38 gallon tank will fit under the SWB unless you remove the spare tire and modify the mounting locations. Maybe someone else could verify this?

Hmmm...looks like Smokey beat me to it! I knew if it wasn't changed in time it would be moved!!

BTW, What's up with this "Flood Control?" Is it new?

Re: GAS TANK UPGRADE (sorry diesel people)

There is a post in the FD.com forum about flood control.

Aerotanks makes tanks that replace the factory tanks in either gas or diesel models.

Re: GAS TANK UPGRADE (sorry diesel people)

Aerotanks isn't the only place!! I found a company that makes a 135 gallon aux tank that is only $200 more than Aerotank's largest 98 gallon. With a V-10 gasser that boils down to approximately a little over 2000 miles per fill-up! I bet you could go about 3500 miles per fill-up with a diesel! Check here: http://www.auxtank.com/

Another company: http://transferflow.com/html/ford_fu...k_systems.html
