Re: How does Heavy Service Suspension benefit me?

Welcome to the F-D site!

The heavey service package will do several things for your truck.

1. Give you heavy service front springs, rear auxilary springs, and a steering damper.

2. Many will say it actually helps the ride and control you have over your vehicle.

3. The heavy service front springs may actually help the front of the truck sit a little higher and will prevent sag (eventually leaf springs can sag over time and a lot of wear).

The heavy service springs will have a higher rating to them, but remember, they will not increase the load capacity of your truck. A 250 is still a 3/4 ton and not a one ton. For more info on these springs, run a SEARCH function for heavy servise package. You will get all the answers you need.

Hope this helps.

Dan

In addition to Dan4x4's comments, it is suggested if you plan to add a heavy steel front bumper like Ranch Hand makes.
