I'm a new Guy,, But heres a funny

Hello, I currently shopping for a F350 V-10, and I must say, some funny things went on that first night I went to test drive my First TRUCK. I must say I'm going to need a 6ft ladder behind my seat cause the FORD is TALL. Trying to clean off the windshield(its winter time in NY), opening and closeing the hood, and even getting in the truck(without Cab Steps) Is hard. But the advantage is not haveing to bend over to see under the truck, the undernieth is like eye level for me(LOL). Being 5'4" Brings on a challenge for us small People, But heck ITS worth it. ALways told myself "Go big or stay HOME"

Hi & Welcome!

These are some tall trucks. I'm 5'10" and can't reach the center of the windshield nor close the hood by grapping it in the middle! For the first couple of months, I had no step rails and it was terrible. Being hobbled from back surgery made it even worse! As you noted, it sure is nice to crawl under and have plenty of room.

BTW, how did you like the truck?

I'm also 5'4", and I can feel for you. Those SDs are only slightly lower than mine. They look taller, but I parked next to one, and it appears I've got about 2" over them at the top of the cab. Without side steps it was quite a jump to get in my truck. My friend has a 3" body and 38s, his is really a jump.
