Injector help

Wondering if someone can please help me with some information?
1 What was the first year for the v-10?
2 What were the style of the fuel injectors in each year?(New or old style)
3 What were the pounds/fuel/hour rating in each year?
4 What color were they in each year?
5 Could I use the Mass Air from the v-10 or is the injector calibration in the processor?
6 What diameter is the v-10 maf?
Why I'im wondering is because I will be putting bigger injectors in my 5.0 mustang and researching some from v-10 engines as I believe they had larger ones.
Thank you if anyone can help me out
Brent

Re: Injector help

My 2000 V10 sports an 80mm MAF along with 19lb/hr "new style" injectors. I will be putting 30's in it soon. To do that I have to use the new-old adapter pigtails @ $8.00ea. Whew! The price we pay for performance. This thing sure is a $hitload of fun though!

p.s. Why go through the trouble of researching V10 components when you can aftermarket Motorsport injectors from as small 19's to as large as 36's and everything in between. Same for Mass air meters. Just curious. Take her easy.

Re: Injector help

New v-10 injectors are only $35.00 each at the dealer.Cheaper than $500.00 for a motorsport set.The number on the injector I suspect is from a v-10 is 0-280-155-868 and is greyish-white in color. Can someone check there injectors??
