It's here and it's HUGE!

Picked up the new F350 tonight. The lemon is GONE

Pics will be up on the website soon. Until then, specs are in my new signature!

Re: It's here and it's HUGE!

Happy for you NoMo. I see you went with the 4x4. It only takes once to be glad of that choice when it hauls your sorry butt out of a bad spot. Take it from the expert "bad spot finder". (See article in my soon to be published Outpost Chronicles regarding 650 mile tow with 2wd stuck in mud hole and blown motor in the Yukon territories)

Glad the "bad dream lemon " is in your rear view mirror. I'll probably see it on a car lot in my neighborhood soon with a sign "Great truck, Low Miles"

Way togo NOMO !!! Hope that all will be right with the new rig. Karma should be going on your side this time for all the hassles you had with the last one. How many leafs do you have on the front with the HD suspension package if I could ask. Look forward to the pictures !!!

NoMo,

Congrats on the new truck! I can only imaging the grief you went through to get to this point. I sincerely hope this one works out 100x better than the lemon. Please keep us posted with trip reports, pictures and the like.
Best wishes.

Dan

Re: It's here and it's HUGE!

You have the same wheelbase as mine. The back tires will take a beating until you get used to the lenght. The turning radius is about 200 feet. So many people come up to me and say "..man that is one long truck". Actually about 22 feet. The 8' bed is a great trade off.

Good Luck,
Rob

Isn't that the truth! "Long as a wh*re's dream" has been the most common phrase today.

How's that old song go...
Gimme 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around...

Just two. The way I read the info, the HD suspension pkg is basically just the camper pkg without the rear sway-bar.

Many thanks to all here! Without everyone's help, I wouldn't have been able to get this new truck without taking a tremendous beating. They way it is, I got my "old" truck paid off and got this new one for a fair price. Thanks again to ALL OF YOU!
