K&N Air Filter Kit

I have a 03 F-350 FX4 6" lift with 35's with a V10. I was looking into getting the K&N kit, not just the filter, but the whole cold air intake kit for my truck. I am getting 14mpg after using the hypertech power programmer. All I ever hear about is more horsepower with the K&N but never anything about improved gas mileage. I have PLENTY of horsepower. Has anyone used this product and noticed better fuel mileage?? I gained 1.5mpg when I installed the power programmer. Would be worth the money if I could get just a little more.

I put a 4" silverline exhaust from turbo back, and I also put in a K&N Cold air intake. My mpg jumped up about 2mpg. I am not sure what part is from cold air, and what is from exhaust, but I am happy with the 2mpg difference. I think I am going to get a hypertech also.

I just bought the cold air intake on ebay. I hope it is worth the money. I will know soon.

I've had CAI's on several different trucks from AIC to K&N and really haven't noticed any appreciable gain in mpg or hp..

Well, I have had on my KN for about a month now. If I could do it all over again I would not have bought it. I have noticed no difference in power or mpg. Waste of money if you ask me.
