Lots of suspension noises - Diesel Forum

I've got a 2000, F250 V-10, 4X4, extended cab 3.73 with about 14K miles. The thing squeaks and groans constantly. It sounds like an old truck - I also have 2 F350 dually diesels for work which have never made a noise ('99 & '01)

Never heard anything quite like it from a new truck (just a grocery hauler) Any suggestions??

The dealer claims he didnt hear anything.

Sounds like the front spring to me. They(Ford) had a concern with them squeaking.

Ford has some updated spring pads available to correct that noise.

The squeaks and groans are likely two different things. The squeak is probably the spring pads mentioned above, and be sure to grease the sway bar to axel bushings (on edit: you might not have one..) to aleviate the groan. In my case the groan was most evident going over speedbumps or pulling into driveways that dipped down. HTH.
