My 99 V-10 MPG

I took my V-10 on a 1000 mile trip last weekend. On the freeway at about 80 mph I got 13.3 and that was the best I got. On the way back I was around 12.4. I think my 460 gets better than that. I thought I would check it because I hear so many people saying 16 on the freeway.

Re: My 99 V-10 MPG

Slow down to 55 mph and you'll get close to 16.

Re: My 99 V-10 MPG

Slow down to 70 and you should get between 14 and 15....

Steady foot, not steady speed will keep your mpg maxed out. Cruise control is only best if you're on flat terrain, because it tries to maintain steady speed.
