need help !!!!

i have a f250 crew cab '04 5.4 triton auto w/ 4.10 tran. ( short wheel base)

want to know the max weight on a fifth wheel i can tow?
also if there is anything i can add to beef up max weight ?

Looks like 8700 lbs is your max. They also figure these ratings out with only like a 175 lb driver and nothing else in the truck. Not even sure if they include a full tank of gas. Start throwing in passengers, a dog, a cooler of your favorite recreational beverages and your start eating into that weight rating.

You can modify your truck all you want to "improve" max weight, but legally you can only tow what the truck was originally designed for.
