There's a company called AED that makes centrifugal supercharger kits for the 4.6. They probably make one for the 5.4 as well. This will run you some large money (in the ballpark of $1500), but after you get it tuned up and running right, you will see massive gains in horsepower and torque.

Those 35s suck up alot of HP.. But truck does look good with the big meat.
Lets see:Just my thoughts:
K&N FIPK will help it breath, around $200
Headers will help it breath, $250(?) and up
Throutle body spacer, $100
Chip custom to your truck (?)
Hypertech Power programer 111 $200 plus
Zoodad mod helps get cool air into engine compartment.Cant hurt (time)
Remove all unnessary weight!!!!
I stripped my truck down, removed everything, all tools and the cap and it was a different truck..

I ran it hard for a few days and then back to being a work truck...
Other than telling you next time go large. Thats about all I can think of for the V-8
Best of luck and nice truck...

I agree with Twinbulls, those tires are killing you. My 5.4 feels good with the stock 235/85 (32"?) tires. Won't be cheap, but the best way is to re-gear the truck to maybe 4.56 or so.

Well, I did put a K&N and a SMCT 1715 on my truck... would I do it again yes, was it worth the $500 plus I think regearing is what you really need to do if your towing all the time.
I'll put it this way, my last truck was a 2000 Ranger with the 4banger, 33's and 8.5" of lift. What did I do??? I pulled the 3.73's out and put in a set of 5.13's.

A centrifugal supercharger is basically a belt-driven turbo. It relies on the belt for power rather than exhaust gases. They provide boost a little faster than a turbo, and are somewhat popular as an aftermarket upgrade for some gas engines. As for the price, that was what they were running for a 5.0 Mustang kit the last time I checked (wasn't recently).
This forum has a bit of information on supercharging modular Fords, if you look around. These guys are mostly running 4.6's, but I'm sure a 5.4 will respond at least as well to the same mods.

I ordered my Tuner from some place out of a 4wd magazine... I don't remember the name and would not recommend them if I could!!! Terrible customer service. I bet if you checked with one of the nice sponsors here on thedieselstop.com they would love to help you with one If not I know THIS place has them and they have treated me really well in the past.
