Need vacume line diagram

Hey guys,

I have an 87 F-250 with the 5.0l (302), and I need to go thru the vacume lines and make sure everything is connected correctly.

Does anyone have a GOOD diagram for the vacume lines on this truck?

The sticker under the hood is useless as they come.

We swapped out the engine a couple of years ago, with a donor from a Crown Vic I think it was and never did get the lines hooked up quite right, but it did run, but has been sitting for some time now and I finally got it fired up today and it is a gutless wonder, but I would amagine the major problems are needing a complete tuneup, but figured while I am under the hood might as well make as much right as I can.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards
Paul

Re: Need vacume line diagram

The one under the hood is the only 'right' one for your truck, and it's about as easy-to-read as they come. The heavy black lines are rubber hose; the thin black lines are hard plastic (usually Ts & unions); the colored lines (if there are any) are colored plastic vacuum lines.

An example

What don't you understand?

Re: Need vacume line diagram

I don't think you are going to find a diagram better than the one under your hood. Was the donor engine also a '87? If not, maybe you can find a diagram that matches the donor vehicle and go from there.

You'd probably get more help if you asked for a diagram for the donor engine. You could also check the engine swap section of Ford-Trucks.com and also ask at Flatratetech.com.
