New cats anyone? - Diesel Forum

Has anyone out ther upgraded to new cats on their v10's? What sound and power do you get from this? What brand should I look for?

I high flow cat in today's performance market generally means the flow of cash out your wallet.

I read an article in a rodding mag, they did a flow test between a OEM aftermarket replacement and a "HIGH FLOW" performance cat. Their findings showed that the extra cash for the high flow was not worth the net results. The flow rate was very close and not worth the time or effort.

Our V-10's have both O2 sensors before the cat. So it really isn't going to help.

I could swear my V10 has THREE O2 sensors...

I'm pretty sure the only place to find these is on the exhaust.
