I'll be the first to respond to this. I believe those numbers are with the truck off, coasting in neutral, downhill, and with a strong tail wind.
I hope I don't rain on your parade, but I only get about 10 mpg(granted I do have 35" tires and the 4.30 gears) Maybe my Ranger got those numbers, but not a big heavy truck like this.

Looks to me like some WEB page editor used code from another vehicle and forgot to erase the "-- 16 city/21 highway (4X2), 15 c ity/19 highway (4X4)" from the page before pasting it to the WEB.
I've got the same truck you're wanting except with the Supercab. I haven't done a lot of highway driving yet because I've only had it for 2 weeks now, but I've been getting 10.5 mpg and I've got a pretty light foot.

I honestly thought 19mpg was a little far-fetched, the 5.4L doesn't even get close.
My local dealer, has the exact truck except it is a green color. This was a 2001, the first I've seen, it had the newer style seats, with movable headrests. The seats' were really comfortable and the truck ran really well. A friend's dad is a silent owner of the company, and he tell's me that the V-10 is supposed to avg around 17. I doubt that too.
nomo: Long-time no type. I lost my password to f150online. It's like a habit, it's hard to kick. I want to keep it. It does good on mileage. How do you like your superduty?
I really would like a Diesel, but it wouldn't pay-off for me. I figure around 33,000miles a year just to break-even, and not to mention the 1.49/gallon gas.
Did the Owasso SuperWalmart open yet? My father has a friend, who's wife works there. My hometown opened theres in Sept of 99. It's killed almost all of the other grocery stores. I like the one stop shop method.

Hi Past.
The SuperDuty is nice. I like the extra bulk as well as 4WD. I know what you mean about the "old" trucks. I still think about the '93 I had (and probably should have kept). Oh well.
Driving 4 miles to work and pulling only in the summer also left me looking at gassers. Besides, it's hard to not get pumped about 10 cylinders.
Yup. The new wally-world is open and their grocery prices are the lowest around. My only complaint is that they seem to carry more "junk" and less of the things I "need".
Hey there Pastmaster, Again..Long time no hear. Still have my F150 but hate to admit, it is just taking up driveway space. Good to see you on a post again.
Loving My F250SD. Best vehicle I have ever bought.
As for all those out there with truck problems I feel for you, (knock)(knock) no probs with mine yet. 12500 in 6 months and only problem is the drivers seat I burned a hole in with a cigarette cherry that fell off.
