New mods complete!

Well, as of tueday, I finished my 5.5 fabteck, in whick I also purchased AR Baja 16x10's for my 315/75's. I will get pictures up asap. One problem. I brought it to my dealer to have the speedo recalibrated. I know a few guys who have had them do it in the past. Thing is, they couldn't do it. They said they tried both of there computers, and neither one would get them in. Then the head service guy told me that Ford changed the program on them and they can no longer recal. speedo's. He said its because of emmission testing. So I guess I need a truspeed. Where do I get one?

Re: New mods complete!

Congrats on the lift install...it really changes the look of the truck.

One place to try is Rocky Mountain Suspensions, they advertise the Truspeed for $ 168.00 not sure if there are any cheaper places and I have never ordered from them but maybe worth a look. Good Luck !

Re: New mods complete!

I had my '00 250 V-10 calibrated at the dealer a while back. They said they could go as low as 600 revs per mile on the 2000 model (if I remember correctly). The later models started to limit this, but could still be recalibrated some. Don't know about 03's. Check with another dealer before shelling out that kinda cash. Spend it on another mod.
