Re: oil drain valve

Bluester,
Get it with the nipple. Then pickup a short length of rubber tubing to drain right into a large container to take for recycling. Makes oil changes much, much easier. Now we need a good way to drain the filter and whats above it with less mess (icepick didn't get it all out). Love my Fumoto valve!

Re: oil drain valve

Which one screws into the pan, then has the other part with a hose, that screws in when you want to drain the oil?

Re: oil drain valve

Does anyone know the actual thread size of the drain plug? Is it a Male M14 x 1.25 or a Male M14 x 1.5...or is it something totally different?

Thanks.

Re: oil drain valve

Don't know the thread size, but for the V10, F106 or F106(N) (for nipple) are the numbers. lubespecialist.com (or close) has them for 20.00 + 2.00 s/h. I think the nipple ones are a couple bucks more.

I'm gonna get one, but I just changed my oil, so there's no hurry now.
