PIAA Headlights

I just installed a new set of PIAA replacement headlight bulbs. They are 55 watt Low and 65 watt High but are supposed to be equal to 80 and 100 watts. They have a noticable blue tint and the output on the road is whiter and brighter. They are definitely brighter and more blue than my stock foglights. I paid $50.00 online. JCW has
no-name bulbs cheaper but I wanted to stick with a quality name. Overall, they are good but I expected a little more output.

PS If you pull back on the turn signal stalk and hold it there, the highbeams will turn on with the lowbeams and foglights.

Just remember- racing stickers may add 5hp but engine chrome adds 10hp!

Re: PIAA Headlights

I got them from Truckperformance.com. They were $49.95 for the pair.

Re: PIAA Headlights

The trick of using the stalk to turn on both high and low beams on the same time isn't to smart since then you've got an excess of current running through a switch that isn't designed to handle that much juice. Geno's Garage has a product for sale called the Brite-box that uses a relay to handle the current from both high and low beams at the same time safely.
