This is still a work-in-progress, but here's
my truck with custom work courtesy of RW
Automotive: (17k small pics)

if interested, more and larger pics at http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...960&Auth=false

Also, the most amazing thing is the ride
quality--smoother than stock, yet more
stable! No bone chattering vibrations on the
street, yet no marshmallow bouncy motion.
sound oxymoronic?

Re: pics

Hey Jimveta, your truck looks cool!

On the shocks, how did you mount the multiple rear shocks? Did you purchase a kit or fab something up?

Thanks! Keith.

Re: pics

Very nice truck. How much lift, and what gears are you running with those 35s?

Re: pics

thanks!

gordos: the shocks are from foxracing, http://www.foxracingshox.com . originally,
i decided on sway-a-away http://www.swayaway.com
(because i had heard more press about them
than fox racing) but the order was taking way
too long for them to get to, so i decided to
go with the shop owner's recommendation of
fox racing shocks, who was local knew
personally.

so we gave them the weight of the truck,
the suspension travel, told them how we sorta
wanted the ride to be, and asked for remote
reservoirs then they came back with the
custom valved, nitrogen shocks (adjustable
through a nozzle on the reservoirs, which
btw, you can mount anywhere) you see.
as for the price.. well, they cost a lot
but they're still cheaper than some other
really expensive ones (i.e. bypass-valve
types)

keithf: i personally don't know the details
(you'd have to speak with the shop) but yes,
the shock hoops were fabricated.

BTW, i have a question for u, how did you do
the driver side door handle? (great idea,
especially on your truck

stan: 4" lift and 4.56 gears which feels
like it's perfect for the 35"s (without
supercharger in yet)

Re: pics

First off, that truck is s beauty. You mentioned gears. I have a 99 f-250 5.4 v-8 SD. I wanted to know what gears do the best for off road and highway use. Off the line what would do the job?
