Pictures of 5" Tuff Country Lift

For us gassers, I got some decent pix of my Superduty with a 5" Tuff Country kit installed by Les Schwab last week. She is dirty. I love it! I dont know how much lift I actually got, because I didnt measure stock height. The Measurements with the lift on are 45 1/4 front and 48" rear (ground to the highest fender point). Mods include:

5" Tuff country lift
70 series Flowmaster muffler
K&N air filter
Warn Fender flares
16.5 x 9.75 Weld SS wheels
35x12.5x16.5 BFG MTs
Spray in bedliner

GEAUX TIGERS! I can taste the sugar!

Re: Pictures of 5" Tuff Country Lift

Thanks, man. Search the gas engines forum for:

sound file 5.4

That should get you to my post with the flow sound file. I like it. It is almost undetectable in the cab, low and mellow outside. It is not overly loud, just right for me. truckperformance.com has the Force II kit (w/ 70 series) for around 200 bucks and free shipping now. Thats what I got. My muffler came in a flowmaster box for a CC V10, but fit perfectly. I would do it again. Yeah, the more I drive the truck, the more I like it. I am still in awe of her. It dwarfs everything (you dont live in Washington State do you )?. Now Stock 4wds seem to be 2wds from up there. Taking the long way around and hitting a bunch of lights doesnt bother me as much anymore .

Are those clear corners legal nationwide? I like em.

Thanks Sayer

Re: Pictures of 5" Tuff Country Lift

lol.... naw, i'm in california.... so you have nothing to worry about but like i said.... i am starting to feel little and am comtemplating going bigger......

i didn't realize you were running an eight..... i was fishing for the ten since i want to hear a few before i make mine sound like a kiddies six.... (i keep hearing the ten sounds funny with free breathing systems?).

as for legal issues with the clear corners... i don't know i have amber blubs in them so they do stay orange when illuminated.... so i assume they are.

Re: Pictures of 5" Tuff Country Lift

Hey abendx
if you don't mind me asking where did you get the piller handle for the driver's side and was it hard to install? I am interested in getting one.

sayer
