Police Interceptor

Anyone heard of a F-250 Police Interceptor? I just know it's a 1999 V10. Sure hope someone can help me out on this one [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Do you know if the Police Interceptor package is a factory pkg. and what does it have in it? My son just bought a used 99 from a dealer and it has the Ford Police Interceptor stickers on the windows. The salesman tried to tell me it was some sort of alarm but I think this was a police vehicle.
Under the hood, it has some stainless steel lines that look like some sort of fuel feed. Maybe a Super Charger??? It's a real clean truck for a police unit and it's F-A-S-T!!!!

I don't think there is a Police Interceptor Package. I think some people get their hands on some badges and get carried away. You can get those badges if you have the right source. I believe they come off a Crown Victoria police cruiser. Stan is affiliated with emergency service. They look pretty cool though [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

I don't know of any Police Interceptor packages like that. My friend (a cop) gave me that badge and I thought it made a cool picture.

You can get those police interceptor window decals from E-bay or any other number of sources including Ford. Just the same as the badge on the fender of that truck the picture was posted on. There are lots of Police interceptor packages out there. I have stickers and decals that say police interceptor on my golf cart [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]

The truck in question is a '99 V-10. It may very well be a POLICE SPECIAL. I was hoping for some pics to show the engine piece he was describing. Besides it may be nice to throw on a few "rare" pieces if you know what to look for!

The police interceptor package is a Crown Victoria available straight from FORD. It basically has stiffer shocks, heavy duty cooling, battery, tranny cooler, etc, provisions for lights and wiring throughout vehicle, calibrated speedo, diff hub caps, etc.

The Excursion is MAINLY used for fire service. Many departments around our department and FDNY use the excursion. It is basically a "XL" version of the X.
