Re: Rear axle seals
I noticed the paint peeled off my diff. I figured that I was running hot, and that the factory fluid level was too low. If you look at the factory fill plug, the fill level is below the axle tubes. I installed a mag-hytek, added 6 qts. of LE607 + friction modifier, repainted the rear axle, paint still on there after 15k miles. I wasnt going to take a chance, better safe than sorry. Will this solve the problem? Only time will tell.
