Rebate for V-10?

I noticed on the Kelly Blue Book website that F350 SuperCabs and Crew Cabs had a $1000 credit for ordering a V-10. It said the offer ended 12/22/00. No other details. Thought I'd pass it along.

Thanks for the post! They built my 350 with a V10 this week. The offer says "Available 10-24-2000 Thru 12-22-2000) (Req's 99S 6.8L Engine) (Restrictions May Apply)"

Mine was ordered 10/17, so I may be in a gray zone. My dealer is a nice guy, but I don't completely trust him, so is there another to find out if it applies to my truck?
Would it be specified on the invoice? Is there a way to find out about therestrictions?
