Is it really that hard?

How important is it to change the filter: VERY important. I have seen some so clogged that the engine is starving for fuel, rough idle and finally the "check engine light". How hard to depressurize system. Easy, let the truck sit for about 1/2 hr. Then look for the "schrader" valve (looks like a bycicle tube valve) on the fuel rail. Just uncap it and put a rag on the engine...press the center and let it flow. Once the filter is replaced, the truck will most likely start right up and then "stumble" for a few seconds and pick right up. IIRR the filter is located in the frame rail on the drivers side. Make sure of the flow ( will be an arrow) and use the NEW clips to hold the lines on. Watch your eyes as there will still be fuel in the filter and it will run out.
