**** REPORT *****

I just got back from Dallas and here are my Numbers and I do use the computer as I have checked it out several times and find it is within .2 +- mpgs if not right on Guess Iam one of the lucky guys??
Leave Fort Lauderdale
out side temp.55 degs.
MPGs 11.4 set cruze between 65 and 70 MPGs went up to 14.4
drove for 3 hours
THEN wife took over and I got some sleep
Well after 3 hours she wakes me up to drive and I notice MPGs way down 10.8 MPG all she says is dont know and leave her alone shes tired.. so I do
Well I set cruze and off we go outside temp 41 degs.MPGs back up to 14.8, 3 hours later I wake her and I get to
sleep.
Ohh by the way Iam running the 87 octane program from the PP111.
Well 3 hours latter shes back and so is the low MPGs 10.6
Well she tells me that there was alot of traffic and she had to pass a lot of slower cars?slower than 80mph??
I say and then the truth is out as soon as I doze off she bumps the cruz up to 75-80mph and then some.
Well this goes on for the rest of trip.
I get 14+MPGs
and she gets 10.5 to 11 MPGs
We get to Dallas 1365 miles later and 21 hours and yes that averages 65 MPH.And outside temp is 31 degs.Did you know that when the temp drops to below 40ish that the computer flashes the word ICE over and over??I didnt.
Around town driving was 11.7
On the way home I played with the different PP111 programs and lets see the 93 octane program get 12.1 to 12.8MPG at 65mph for 3 hours.
the stock program gets 12.1 to 12.6 MPG at 65 mph the best program was the 87 octane program it got 12.5 up to 14.3.
The truck is a 1999 V10 2 wheel drive CC 3:73 with 95K miles
Two and a half people and all their stuff. And some family presents.
hope this info helps

Re: **** REPORT *****

I think I've noticed the ICE a couple times on mine when it hits 35 degrees. We have a place in east Texas and Huntsville seems to be the line where the temp gets much colder. It'll steadly drop from that point north. I know 2 weeks ago when we arrived it was 38 and it wasn't blinking yet.

Here is another fun fact, 2 weeks ago(hehe same trip) I was running low on fuel, I actually forgot I was running low. We usually stop in Riverside (hwy 19 at the Trinity river) to fill up. As we're getting closer my 13yo son is watching the guage as I am. I think it was at 20 miles to go the 20 started blinking. BTW I topped off the tank (no I didn't stand there clicking for 20 minutes) and put in 37.2 gallons. I think the computer was reading 18-19. So I figure it is off by about a half of a gallon to a gallon.

Re: **** REPORT *****

I agree with your findings. I get close to those numbers when I drive. I check using a GPS and calculator.

If it is the same place I know, they carry a few items. Mostly parts for dirt track racers and they have started carrying "tuner" parts.
They can order just about anything as most other stores.

They have been in the area foe a while, I've lived here for about 5 years.

Re: **** REPORT *****

It's a repair place in Springfield. My brother-in-law works there. He and my sister used to live in Clarksville. Now they are in Cedar Hill just outside Springfield. Just curious. My brother-in-law said your truck looks familiar.
