Scraping noise

Can't figure were the noise is comming from. Sounds like something litely draging metal on metal. Bearing? - Front hubs? - Trans?
Truck is a 250 CC SB 4x4 V-10 4:30LS K&N Dynomax Rancho9000x airbags.
Last mouth changed Trans-Transfer-F&R axles to synthetic as well as Engine Mobil 1. New front pads & rotors.

Any idea's out there.

Re: Scraping noise

Hey a big welcome to the site.....
What year???
I have a 1999 and I herd the same noise at start up when I first start to move.
I think its the AC vacuum under dash only happens for a sec or two.
Freaked me out at first I checked everything but nothing then I rode in pas seat and herd it clearly..
Its been doing this for over a year if it where bearings or something else I would have major damage by now...
Hope this helps

Re: Scraping noise

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry it's a 2002. I don't think its a vacume or AC on start-up. I only hear it when moving slow 5 - 25 mph. Anything above that you start to hear tire noise.

Re: Scraping noise

I heard this noise too; a couple of weeks ago. It was a constant scrub, did not seem to vary with engine/truck speed. Lasted for about a week (250 miles). My truck's now in the shop getting a new transmission (under warranty). Left me stranded 2 hours from home. Ford paid for most of the tow home too!

I'd get to the shop PDQ!!!
