Re: sold PSD for V10

How do you like driving the V-10 with a 6spd? I just ordered a F450 with the same combo but I wasn't able to drive one since there
are none around.
I sold the '94 F350 with the IDI diesel a few weeks ago. It was a great engine after I put about $7500 of aftermarket stuff on it so
it could actually get moving in a forward direction when pulling a load. But the E4OD and not having much in the brakes really
drove me nuts so I decided it was time for an upgrade.
Good luck with your new truck. Should have mine in about 7 weeks! How frigging long does it take to order one when the economy
is strong?

Re: sold PSD for V10

Hi F350Heavy
Driving the V10 6 speed is a joy, I get about 10-12 mpg around town-but I have not done much higway, mostly 10

I'm probably going to have to remove the center console to put in radio and light switches for the VFD, but that is another story.
generally i'm very happy with the truck.
good luck to you with yours,
Herb
