Couple, give your engine a bath couple days before. Nice to have some air to blow out the holes before you pull the plugs. Have plenty of various extentions and such ready. If I recall it's takes about 30 minuted to do the first 5, then an hour more to do the last five.
Watch your torque when tightening, too. The gas engines are known for pulling threads in the head when done improperly. Just use common sense, and you'll be OK. Good luck.
Like they said, clean and dry. Compressed air to blow out the holes is a must. Don't forget to put a dab of neverseize on the threads and tapered seat.
I found a magnetic pickup tool to be handy as well when I dropped one of the little bolts that hold the coil in place.

For a V10..... BandAids! Make sure you have BandAids.
The couple of plugs by the firewall are kinda hard to get to.

Just finished replacing the plugs and boots for the first time at 96,500 miles. Took about 3.5 hours, but I went slow and steady since I hadn't done it before. Now that I know what needs to be removed to make it easier, it should take me less than 2 hours. Plugs looked really good for that kind of mileage. Some rust on 3,6,7,8,9, with the worst being on 7. Overall, I'm pleased with the longevity of the oem plugs.
I replaced mine with the bosh +2 and have nothing but good things to say. A lot better then OEM. I found that if you remove the fuel rail, you have a lot more room. I also remove the air cleaner and MAF sensor, so i can sit in that little area. A lot more room. Makes it a lttle easier to get to the plugs in the back.
