Re: Storing My Truck For Awhile?

It will be in your best interest to park it in my driveway and I'll, uh, keep the battery up for you. You wouldn't want those tires to start dry rotting and the fluids need to be kept fresh and used. Plus the bed will be much happier with a load in it and my kids will keep the seats from being lonely (and clean ). And hey, what's a few more miles?

Re: Storing My Truck For Awhile?

Fresh oil (old oil has acids & water in it, not good to let sit), full tank of fuel (more fuel = less air exposure = less light component evaporation), a couple bottles of fuel stabilizer. Maybe pull the battery cable off so all the electronic gizmos don't kill the battery as quick. If you can, block the axles up so the tires don't flat spot. When you get back, plan on charging the battery and probably changing the oil again (condensation).
