I trade every year for same make@model(see signature)w/10,000mi. on trade-in.The last three years I've averaged $4,000 difference at two local dealers in mid Missouri. If this is high can anyone tell me where and how I can get a better deal on 02 model. I'm thinking of lnternet shopping,but don't know how trade-in would be handled?

I live in Louisiana, the dealer I used was in Kansas City, Kansas and the truck was located in Oklahoma. Bought and traded over the internet at Shawnee Mission Ford. They have a internet sales department or person or something like that and just about everything was done through e-mail and a few phone calls. This was in 1995 and I recently bought my Peterbilt using the internet, which was also located in K.C., Kansas. I was totally honest about the trade and they were up front with everything on their end.
I had good experience with both purchases and will do it again. Be careful on promises too good to be true though.
