Re: truck wont start
[ QUOTE ]
My friend has a 1994 F250 4X2 reg cab w/manual tranny and a 351 engine. Today we replaced all of his hoses and did an oil chane, yesterday he replaced plugs and wires. It was running fine when I left but he called me up a while ago and says now it wont start. H did try popping the clutch to no avail. He also says the engine is trying to turn over but will not start. Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of looking at the fuel delivery system but wont be able to get to it til next week so Im trying to give him some ideas to start off with. Any help is greatly appreciated

Trying to turn over? I'll just assume that it is cranking fine, but no start, otherwise it's just a cranking issue(battery, cables, solenoid, etc). Check if you have any fuel pressure at the test port on the fuel rail, could have a restricted fuel filter, or dead fuel pump. May have damaged the cap/rotor possibly, or the TFI module happened to go out. Here I usually see one of those two parts causing the problem.
Do you have access to FMCdealer Service Pubs? I see they only have the PC/ED manual online for that vehicle now, but that is all you should need for troubleshooting.
