turnsignal

Is anyone having a problem with the turnsignal turning off or not getting it to stay on if the steering wheel is turned slightly? It's really frustrating if I need to make a turn one way or the other on a curved road.

Re: turnsignal

Welcome to the world of engineering defects. Been a Ford issue for a long time. After a while you get used to it (not really). It is a problem from the standpoint that you get tired of it and want to just quit using them, BUT, you know it's the right thing to do so you endure. Wish Ford would come up with a fix... (really long wait).

Re: turnsignal

Yep, it is a very common Ford problem.

If you have trouble getting the blinker lever to stay down, just turn the steering wheel very slightly in the oppisite direction and then push it down again it will stay on. This is my third Superduty, so I've got it down to a science now .

Re: turnsignal

Many a post has been written about this, and it seems to have shown up about the time F**d started using the GM idea of multiple controls on the turn-signal stalk. One of the few things I miss about my old '86, turn signals that stay on when they should.
