V-10 with snow plow radiator?? - Diesel Forum

I know alot of Ford diesel owners went to a V-10 radiator for extra cooling. When I ordered my 2008 V-10 and added the snow plow option, the option listed HD front springs and extra cooling radiator. What's the difference between the regular V-10 cooling setup and the V-10 with the snow plow option?

I think you are confusing radiators with trans coolers. I thought those V-10's were so weak they were air cooled.

I've got an '00 SD w/a V-10/auto and the plow package. In '00, the difference with the plow package was an extra external trans oil cooler. This was in addition to the trans oil cooler in the radiator. The cooling systems were identical to the diesel capacity wise.
