V10 K&N Air Filter System

Heard it's avalable now for $270. Does anyone have it? Where did you get it? Easy to install? Power gains felt?

Heard it's a generation2 with the heat divider to seperate it from the heat on engine.

I would love to hear if it makes a differents or not. What are the power gains, somebody has to know?

I just put the K&N air filter in ($49.99 at Murray's Discount Auto) last week. I was gettig 12.8 (actual and computer) mpg before and 15.3 mpg after the filter. I have heard that the Generation II does even better.

I put a k & N filter on mine with the Banks Stinger exhaust ( filter comes with kit). Haven't had time to really check for pwer or gas mileage. Does seem to pull my 5er somewhat better.Time will tell.

I have the Generation II kit on my F250 and it looks good it does come with a heat shield. I did not notice any performance improvements. I purchased it about 3 months ago from Performance Products. 1-800-752-6111

I have a F-250LD, SC, 3.73LS, and installed a K&N filter about 2k miles ago--no noticable difference in mpg's or power.
