v10 slow start when hot

I have an 03 f250 v-10
This past weekend I took the camper out and when I got to the campground - turned off truck, went in to register and came out the truck turned over but kinda slow as if the battery was dead/low. So, i got into the campsite and Sunday morning went to leave and the truck started great - quick response and seemingly plenty of battery to start it. When i got home i shut the truck down for a few minutes before backing to camper into it's spot - when i went to start the truck same slow/hard cranking as if battery was dying. A few hours later when I had the camper all set and moved the truck it started great.
Any thoughts?

Heat soak.

The starter gets hot from the engine heat, as the starter goes bad, this really affects it.

Replace the starter.

An update,
I went and had the Advance Auto parts electrical system test done and the battery was going bad. after running for a while it was down to 1/2 the CCA it should have.
Replaced it - no more problems and have towed the other day and all was good.

Starter

My 96 E-150 had a problem where it wouldn't crank, so I took it apart and lubed it with Fel-Pro anti-seize and it's worked great ever since.
Make sure if you get a replacement ,that's it's not a rebuilt,but a
re-manufactured or new...
Is there a heat shield on your present starter?
Neighbor had a small motorhome and every time he stopped for
gas he would have to wait about ten minutes for the starter to cool.
I believe this is referred to as "Heatsoak" when heat transfers
from the engine to the starter...
