Want to get more power out of 02 V10

I just bought a 02 F250 crew cab 4x4 auto with the V10 and want to get some more power and mpg. Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Jason

Get a Diablo Sport from these guys. Great service, price and it works.

Ford DiabloSport Predator Programmers

I also bought their Klase wax and it is the best I ever used.

He's just a V-10 wannabe that's why he lingers on the gasser thread. He has the urge to drive a V-10 but doesn't want to be tempted. Or, he just forgot to take his medicine.

What about headers and a off road y pipe and cold air kit? I have 3 diesels now and $3.50 a gallon doesnt make much sense at 15mpg when i can drive the V10 and get 12 to 13mpg for $2.90 a gallon. Just want more power and mpg but on 87 octane. Thanks for yalls input..

The new 2008 V-10's are about maxed out and from all I've read on other gasser sites, it doesn't do any good to add headers, duels, or even intake mods. Ford has a really nice exhaust system on these new V-10's. About all one needs to do is add a Diablo Sport Predator programmer and a dropin K&N filter. That's all I've done to mine and performance is impressive and if you can keep your foot out of it, your mileage is still around 12mpg on 91 octane gas.

I have a Borla Dual exhaust system, with a Gen II KN system and a Jet Chip. It did wake the motor up, but then again mine is a 99.

Pappy's 08 stock has more HP than mine does. I would really like to get a new one with the added ponies in an 08, along with the Diablo. Just trying to convince myself to pull the trigger has been the hard part when you are already paying insurance on 6 vehicles and the new truck can't be replaced as a daily driver.

I don't know how many miles you have but An often overlooked aspect is the ignition system, yea the tritons have a bad history of spitting spark plugs but if your anywhere near the 100k mile mark and if you dont know the maintence history I would highly suggest a tune-up
