Weight difference between gas & diesel

I'm planning on lifting my V10 F-250 4" and I'm considering ordering Diesel front springs. I installed a custom bumper and winch that weighs 300+lbs and don't want a sagging front end once the lift is on like it sags now.
How much more does the diesel weigh? Would the diesel springs mount on the same? What about the ride? Is this even worth considering?

Re: Weight difference between gas & diesel

According to the book my dealer has it adds 502 lbs to the weight of the truck. But I don't know if that is over the V-8 or V-10 gasser weight.

Re: Weight difference between gas & diesel

The PSD, including its 2nd battery, adds about 600 lbs over the 5.4L V8, and about 500 lbs over the 6.8L V10.
