what mpg can i expect from an 06 f250 5.4?

Im having to trade my Srt10 in for a cheaper truck and hopefully one that gets better gas milleage. im getting 9.1 mpg constant and its killing me.. along with the insurance and high payments.

What can i expect from an 06 f250 crew cab short bad with the 5.4 v8?

Ive found one for 16k in florida with 40k on the clock.. good deal?

That's a big truck with a pretty small engine- I'd guess you'd be lucky to see the high side of 12 with that rig.

My 1999 F250 SC 4x4 7.3 gets 15 in town, and 19/20 on long cruises.

The V10 trucks seem to get 10-12. I would imagine that the V8 would get slightly better. Maybe 12-14 if you drive conservatively.
