Spoon,
Thanks for the reply, is that the same Transmission thats in the PSD? Is it a new model, how long has it been available?
How do you like the Gibson exhaust? What model is it and what is the pipe diameter? Does it make a metalic resonance or "tinny" sound?
Thanks, James

It is the same "model" as the one in the PSD as well as the Excursion, Expedition, and some F150s. However, there are significant differences between the internal parts for each of the above applications. The PSD version is probably the "strongest" of the 4R100s. I'd guess the V10 SD/Excursion is next, then the F150 Lightning, followed by the Lincoln Navigator, and finally the Expedition/F150.
Do you think the dual 2 1/2" exit Dual Sport Gibson would sound any different? I'm getting an itch to have dual (looking) tips instead of the big single Borla.

With a net of 5" of exhaust outlet, I'm betting it would be louder than the GP single or the stock. GP tells me there is more resonance inside the cab too.
I really like the new setup. Nice tone, better throttle response.
I threw some IAS shocks on at the same time, improved the ride substantially, no more crab-walking after hitting potholes, etc..

I might go the cheap rout. I may see if a muffler shop can cut the tail pipe off under the fender and dual it out from there (2-2 1/2) and add some chrome pencil tips. Does anyone think the Borla intercooled tips actually help?? I'd hate to cut mine off and loose all that power.
