Right turn, drivers floor popping noises. I have this. Sounds like a Gremlin knocking on the floorboard. It does not happen when the weather is cool(morning), only when hot (afternoon) and driven for a few miles. The popping is sequential (about 3-5 pops), depending on the severity and smoothness of the turn.
I've read all the prior threads regarding the front end noise. Saw anything from hubs, sway bar bushings, to body mounts. However, I did not see where someone actually found the problem and eliminated it, or had the dealer eliminate it.
Dealer could not reproduce the problem (surprise, maybe they'll be able to after my 5 year warranty runs out!)
I may try W/D 40 on some of the running gear on that side to see if it subsides. Truck has 18K on it. I bought it with 15K on it, popping started at approx 17K.
Whether or not it really bothers me is dependent on the mood I'm in. Somedays I write it off as being "a truck". Other days, I wonder why my $12K Chevy never made these noises....yet my $30K Ford does.
I will get under the vehicle this weekend. Before I do, I just wanted to see if anyone had any luck in deciphering what their popping was about, how you fixed it, and if the fix lasted.
Thanks, in advance, for any advise.

My '00 F250 had a popping noise when making right-hand turns, but I couldn't feel it in the floorboard. In fact, you could tell it was coming from the left-front hub.
Yeah, don't think it's my hub. Sounds too close to the floorboard, sometimes I think I can even feel it in the steering wheel.
For some reason, my mind thinks its the leaf spring binding w/movement. If so, WD should help - probably what the dealer did to it to keep it from popping during my "extended" test drive.

My truck has this as well. Only in hot weather, and only when traveling very slow like in parking lots while turning..
I'm 99% conviced its the cab mounts.. I've heard of many folks with CC's having to have cab mounts re-done, but not as many with SC's.
I had an appointment to have it looked at last year, then the weather turned colder and it went away, (so i canceled the appt). Now that summers' back, so is POP..
For sure its not the front leaf springs because I only have a 4x2
My '95 G*C had this too, but not the Ford. I could even feel the floor board move!
It was a loose brace for the transmission in mine. Tightened 2 bolts and it was went away.

KX, have you inspected the cab mounts? Just wondering if they're hard to see or get to. Your situation and mine sound like the very same problem.......

Just so you know wd40 is a dirt magnet so if you off road or like me live on a dirt road don't use it on anything you want to still work in 15 min. Not telling anyone how to do things but take it from someone that has really screwed up some stuff spraying wd40 on them. Mason
Gave a real good listen today. Something is hitting that floorboard. I doubt that WD or any lube is the answer.

Yeah, I looked at the rear ones briefly but didn't really do anything with them..
They are way easy to get to. Push up on the rear seatback and it just lifts out..
Then you can pull the carpet back a few inches the bolts.
I'd like to know what the torque should be on them, but I don't have the SD shop manual.
One thing thats sortof strange is the 2 rear cab bolts have different size heads.. I can't think of any reason why Ford would intensionally do that.
I've not looked at the front cab bolts, but I bet they're just as easy to get to..
I'm exactly like you.. Sometimes the pop's bother me, (my 89' Ranger with 200k miles has NO rattles or creaks), but usually I either never notice it or it doesn't really happen.
