Austin/ San Antonio - CTFD March 8th Meet ***Repost***

CTFD March 8th Meet

Central Texas Ford Diesel truck club On behalf of RSB Diesel Services GRAND OPENING, would like to invite you to spend a day with other truck owners and some good people. The March meeting will be held on the 8th of March at 2P.M. There will be a technical demonstration of the Ford Power stroke Truck-questions will be answered by our fellow PSD truck specialists. Some surprises will be unveiled at the Event. There will be a guided tour of the shop. Snacks, food, and drinks will be served throughout the day. Tired of the Austin city hassle? Then come spend a day in the country, just moments to the west of Austin in the beautiful hill country…..

Directions:
From Austin: You will take 71w out from the Y in Oak Hill..When you get to the Pedernales river, it will be another 6 miles, you will see Gregg Ln. on the left(south), turn here and follow it up the hill all the way to the end, where it tees into Live Oak, take a left(east), take the first right(south), and you are in the neighborhood...A word to the wise, if you get to the Exxon gas station(Hollingsworth corner) then you have gone too far.

From San Antonio: Take 281N to Highway 71. Turn right (east) on 71 and follow Highway 71 for approximately 8 miles to Spicewood. Turn right (south) on Gregg Lane and go approximately 1.25 miles and turn left on Live Oak and then a quick right on Elm. The shop is on Elm. It is easily visible once on Elm.

From the North: Take 281S to Highway 71. Turn left (east) on 71 and follow Highway 71 for approximately 8 miles to Spicewood. Turn right (south) on Gregg Lane and go approximately 1.25 miles and turn left on Live Oak and then a quick right on Elm. The shop is on Elm. It is easily visible once on Elm.

Here are some Maps from Mapquest that might help. Maps

If you get lost, please call Randy at (512) 947-2957 or Chris Smiley at (210) 452-4443.

We are planning on discussing future meets in the Austin / San Antonio area and just having a good time getting to know everyone in the area. Please bring your coolers with drinks and lawn chairs. We will supply the fajitas. We need a final head count by March 6th to know how much meat to buy. All are welcome. Hope to see you there...

Re: Austin/ San Antonio - CTFD March 8th Meet ***Repost***

Hello all. I just wanted to let everyone know about a few things for the 8th.
No.1. I will have my ART rotors by the 8th and we will be installing them during the meet. So if anyone has any interest in these you'll get to see them first hand.
http://www.appliedrotortechnology.com

No.2. I have the hook up for the CTFD website. I hope to have some printouts on hand so we can discuss / vote on how it will look. I will be paying for the domain name and the monthly server space. I have a great designer who is a friend of the wife's and is bartering for babysitting.!!! can't beat that deal.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and kicking this club into the future.
See ya'll there!!!
Tom
