Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th

I still cease to understand why we cant get people hyped about meetings in SA and Austin...

There are a hand full of us that want to talk/meet/party together, put for the most part...

We will still try..I know there is going to be some people at my place for the 8th...Still got some surprizes..

Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th

Guys. There is a NEW Rudys BBQ right on IH-35 in approximately the same area. They might have closed the old one down when they opened this one up. You can see it from the freeway, cannot remember the exit number ( suffering from CRS )
I just passed it yesterday.

Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th

To answer your question, there is a new Rudy's in Selma/Live Oak area. That is about 15 miles south, much closer to San Antonio. It is visable from I-35. I called the Rudy's we are going to meet at to verify that they are still in the same place and they are. To clarify, please follow the directions above to get to the Rudy's we will be meeting at. If anyone has any questions about which is the correct one, please let me know.

Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th - Updated!I

I just wanted to say Thank you to everyone that came to our little lunch. It was wonderful getting to meet some great people from Canada. Glen and Sherry (sp?), it was great getting to meet you and I hope that you enjoy the rest of your stay here in Texas. I would also like to say thank you to Bryan, Greg and his wife Jennifer and their pretty little girl Nicole for coming out to eat with us. I am sorry if we missed anyone. It was a great time for those of us that were there. Glen, once you get those pictures developed, please email me a copy. Thanks!

Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th - Updated!I

I enjoyed it too. Glenn is one cool feller (ask him about the rear tow hook on his older truck! ) Thanks a lot Glen for the flags (my neighbor was realy tickled when I gave her that one) and for the Canadian beer. You were right! That's got a bit more 'bite' than most American beers

Re: Austin- San Antonio Lunch February 16th - Updated!I

Thanks for the kind comments fellas!!!

It was a blast to meet Ya'll(???) too! What a super nice bunch of people!

You folks in Texas sure have a lot of nice trucks-I think I injured my neck turning back and forth trying to look at em' all.

I really enjoyed my stay in Texas and the icing on the cake was to meet such friendly people and chat about trucks and eat BBQ.(Yummy!)

I look forward to my next trip.

Special thanks to Smiley for making it all happen.

Later,

Glen
