Calling all Alaskans

We have set a date for the next get together: April 26th & 27th at Wayne's house in Eagle River, Wayne said you could park a camper at his house (if you need too). We will have a BBQ and some homemade beer and I'm sure there will be some wrenching going on . Hope you can make it

Re: Calling all Alaskans

Sounds like a great time. I'll be there provided it works into the family schedule. Only conflict right now might be daughters soccer season. Will keep an eye on the thread and confirm with Wayne as we get closer to the date. Have a good one..

Hello to all fellow PSD owners -

There was a post that's been floating around on the 94-97 pages for the last couple of weeks. I thought it'd be more appropriate to list a post here in the rally section to give additional information about the upcomming spring rally here in south-central Alaska.

The weekend is: April 26/27.

Camping is available to a limited number of folks that are travelling from around the state. I have an RV pad that could accomodate about 2 campers and the main drive about 3. From there, a guy could pitch a tent in either the back and/or front yard. Plus, if we don't have a truck being worked on in the garage, we could set up cots in there too.

The neighbors should LOVE us .

The scope of this two day event is to not only to build camaraderie, but to get idea's from each other's trucks and perform mods too. I have an array of tools, from a welder to vice grips. I may not have what you need, so be ready to bring additional tools with you along with the mod you'd like to perform. I think this is going to be just a load of fun. If you're not wanting to perform a mod, then be ready to provide a hand to the PSD owner that does.

I'd like to also discuss starting a club here in the area if anyone is interested .

Jim M. (THE_ALASKAN) is local and has a bunch of tools that are accessible also.

Ok... I brew my own beer. I have 3 batch's made up now (Hefe, blackberry wheat and an IPA) ready to keg. I'm going to have 2 more kegged and ready to drink, with 2 carboy's on standby. NOWS THE TIME TO TELL ME WHAT TYPE OF BEER IS YOUR FAVORITE.

Please RSVP A.S.A.P at blueoval@mtaonline.net to tell me if you're going to make it or not. I'd like to hear from you by the first week of April. From there, we'll get the food list going. I'm going to need volunteers to bring BBQ items for Saturday and brunch items for Sunday. And, I'd like to get a head count of kids that'll be here so we can plan games and such for them.

You may also call for more info: 907-694-1353 and/or 350-1065.

I think this is going to be a blast . Lets get this ball roll'n!!!

Wayne

That should give you what info you need to know.

Re: Calling all Alaskans

Looking forward to the get together. Any chance one of those attending will have a scanner or the expertise and/or knowledge to check out injectors? I may get my rig into the dealer before hand, but I am not overly confident with their diagnostic expertise or knowledge. Thanks.

Re: Calling all Alaskans

Yep, tomorrow is the day!

It's suppose to be partly sunny with temps in the 50's. Skeeters are out in force, so don't forget some bug dope. Luckilly they're the big slow ones. I do have some on hand, and Wal-Mart is just up the street from me.

I've confirmed about 15 trucks so far, with about 4 wanting to do some sort of mod.

We have all sorts of food and goodies to eat, along with 5 types of homebrew to consume.

Should be a hoot!

Wayne
