Hello fellow MOBers,

The MOB has been invited to come down to Scheid Diesel in Lafayette. I was talking to Les and he showed interest in having some powerstrokes around. They work alot with the cummins, but said he actually sells more ford parts. He said he would be interested in having us all down for a meeting at the shop. Its pretty much up to us on what we want to do. I am sure he would like to just chat about what us Powerstroke guys are doing to our trucks and what products we are looking for. If anything we would have a nice shop to turn some wrenches in for the day. We could go get food before or have it brought to the shop. I just thought I would see what you guys thought about this. We could think about it, get ideas and Terry could talk more about this at the Feb 22nd meeting. The drive is not bad at all. Talk to you all later.

Yes, we will talk about this at the meeting. I am waiting for a nice day to install my new Amsoil By-pass filter. Simple job, just too cold to crawl around under the truck right now. Pitty the garage is sooooo small. Might have to move. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

That sounds cool. I went to there diesel extragavganza and it was very cool. They dont happen to have a dyno down there do they.

I'm not sure, I know one of the three shops has one. I don't think its Lafayette. If we decide we want to have a meeting there, we can ask when we set it all up.

I think they might have a dyno at their Effingham shop.(don't quote me on it)It might be a closer drive also.

Craig, do you think one of the shop guys from Lafayette could make it to this meeting?

If the shop in Effingham has a dyno, that would be a neat place to have a meeting. Dave - are you able to check it out?

I did some calling around. The dyno is in Effingham. All of Scheid is at the National Farm and Machinery show this weekend, so I will call them early next week. What should I find out?

Hey all, February 22nd they are having an open house at their Lafayette location. Find out from Kent or Les if you all can attend. I'd love to meet up with you all and talk to you about Thunder in Muncie and I will also have some info on the Diesel Hot Rod Association. Not only that but I want to ride in a 6.0!!!!! Thanks for the tip, Eric. We are only a week away from our next meeting, which is scheduled for Joliet at the Lone Star. It sure would be nice to get down to the open house though.

As much as i would love to sit at lonestar, enjoy a nice fat, juicy, flavorful strip steak, i think an open house would be awesome. Unless of course they already have a group coming to the open house, but even if they dont have a problem with us joining them, this can be our FIRST MOB outing.

I may be confused [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] (okay, what else is new?) is the TDR already scheduled a meet at Scheid? Is there enough room for everyone? Is there place where the MOB can be together and get something to eat? My wife and I will be coming from a distance and I for one will be hungry.
