Connecticut Club - Diesel Forum

Anyone here fron Connecticut want to start a club?I see a lot of other states do the same.We could have a meeting place were we could work on others trucks and share opinions on upgrades and such.Anybody game? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]

HIvoltage u live in madison you probly have seen my truck down that way 2 tone blue ford 250 with stacks straight piped i am down for what ever i belong to ford truck enthuasists (sp) website and i knwo a bunch of guys are gonna go up to sterling mass theres a beach i guess the 3rd sunday of august

I would still like to do it but lets figure on a place that is central for everybody.By the looks of it there is 5 peaple interested.
Bluebird=Waterbury
Diesel97(Me)= Milford
Trackspeeder=North Branford
High Voltage= Madison
Deadman514=NYC/CT

I would like to keep it central to be fair for everyone.I am thinking like maybe a meet a few times a month.Maybe doing like a dyno test day,and things of that nature.Feel free to give some ideas.Lets keep working on it.We need a club in Ct.Tell all your freinds too. OK,here are my humble suggestions and observations.First off from the list so far Milford looks like it'll work for a central location for our first meeting.Then when we get this thing rolling we could hold meetings in different locations in the state.Now to pick an initial meeting date.From my observations no matter what date is chosen there will always be one or two that have plans for that day.So, lets start with Sunday,July 30.Maybe pick a decent restaraunt with good food and libations.Well it seems pretty simple to get started so let's quit all this hemmin' and hawin' and giterdun!!!!!!!!How about it diesel97,any ideas in your area for a meeting place?

Ok I will start it.Lets make it Friday July 28th at 7:00 pm at Starbucks Coffee on the Boston Post Rd in Orange.Simple to get to and we can decide from there what to do.I will post directions in the morning on how to get there. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]
