Diesel performance clubs?

Just wondering what some of the benefits are to joining one of these clubs, dues, and general info. Or if there's a web-site I could review for one. I think the closest one to me would be in Houston.

There doesn't seem to be any in Louisiana.

From the HAPS website.

HAPS does not have a membership fee, membership form, or dues. Just making the effort and showing up to our meetings or posting in the forums at The Diesel Stop makes you a member. We raise funds with the selling of T-shirts, hats, stickers, and donations for food served at our events that have meals that are prepared.

Whether you are more interested in learning about your truck or have knowledge to share with others, we would like to meet you, your family, and your friends. We hope to see you at our next meeting.

Re: Diesel performance clubs?

The benifits of joining clubs like ours and HAPS is the brotherhood and enjoying the truck conversation. Also working on the trucks,,,,Mod days and the likes. There will be guys that have already done things,,such as doing an exhaust,,installing gauges,, Intank mods ,,ect...
Usually a great time.

Re: Diesel performance clubs?

Tbar & JimTJr have touched on the important stuff (thanks). People,Families and Trucks. Also, HAPS members get a lot of discount prices around town for most any thing for trucks. Ford and Blue Diamond Parts gives us a lot of stuff (from PSD jackets/shirts to pen/pencils) to raffle or give away.

It's also cool to travel to other PSD club events around the states and meet other TDS members. There are no PSD strangers.

Re: Diesel performance clubs?

there is no downfall of joining a club! I have been apart of HAPS for a couple years now and I cant WAIT to get back to Houston to see some of the guys. I would call HAPS my "therapy group" haha find a club and join up!

Re: Diesel performance clubs?

Could be one of the best ways to get away from everything else every now and then.
