This will be a shop/hangout/get fed day with all models welcome. It sounds like if the weather permits and there is demand David will be dynoing as well.

If you wish to dyno at this event please chime in so he can plan his day accordingly.

Everyone is welcome. This is a normally just a fun day to hangout, BS and generally mingle with other diesel heads.

The dyno is available. So if you want to dyno, just let me know. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Otherwise I will be hanging out and telling the BIG lies. But seriously, you get what I mean. In other words, I won't have a beer until the dyno is closed. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Not sure who will be on the rollers at this point. I know we have a couple. BMDMAX will have his wifes new LLY on there trying some stuff out. He may just take an hour or so. Jeff may put one or two up (ya never know about Jeff) TooMuchBoost is gonna HAVE to see what that Passat is gonna put down. Better make sure I have the BIG straps for that one. I am curious as to if you will be dynoing the TDI Beetle at the Event. Is it stock or modded? The reason I ask is am in need of some help with mine and need some issues worked out before we can do anymore mods to it. Would like to see what your intensions are with the TDI. We will most likely be there for the event. I know my husband has some guys wanting to come down with him as well. Possibly getting the truck on the dyno for some after mod numbers. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure Jeff and David will be setting up by 8 or 9 and I will ask Jeff tomorrow when I see him to be precise.

Depending on the crowd and weather these events go into the early evening. Typically, the spring events like this one have a great turnout.

I know the owner of the Hampton Inn a few exits north on I-75 if anyone wants me to check on a room deal.

After looking at your sig you might have to show me how to TOTALLY kill ESR via my VagCom HEX/CAN if you know how. Even with it disabled it turns on around 80% throttle on the dyno limiting TQ.

BTW- Are you bringing the bug?

Well I can't show you how to use the vag-com, that's something my husband will need to show you. I would love to bring the bug, but she is getting a major overhaul done. Tranny is toast and I would be down right crazy to put her on a dyno right now. Get laughed right out of GA. Now next time it will be a different story. Jody can fill you in on our little project when he see's you this weekend. Thanks for the info.

That's a shame because it would have really impressed Jeff IMHO. Though he builds some of the strongest and fastest 5.9 Cummins in NA this modded TDI thing [like my Passat] is new to him and that bug would have really impressed him. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif[/img]

I'll make sure Jody brings pic's of what he has done to it so far. Along with the info on what we are getting done soon. She's getting a beefed torque and I can't wait to see the numbers she will put down on the track. I would be excited to see the low 14's. Maybe by summer we will have her all put together for one of the other events at silver dollar. Is that the name of the track in GA?
