Of course I wasn't to happy havin to pull in front of BB. Anyhow I can't wait for next year! BTW when I went across the scale for the first time it was 8520#. Looks like the truck needs to go on a strict diet!

Well, we didn't do too bad for some rednecks from Iowa. We got first in 8500 Street Class, and 2nd in the ProStock 8500. We haven't run NOS all year, and we detuned it way too much-it really fell on its face. Wasn't as strong as the first hook without it. We also ran the open class with Frank and the Scheid's truck-I know we didn't get last.
Met some cool people that I had only chatted or read about.
I know I will forget someone, but BBD, Psychostroker, GSXTRBQD, Deerez, Sly....and I am sure some that I forgot. Good to put a face to the chat room names. Joey-there can only be one Black Widow....I'll try to get a video posted from the airport.
It was a great event, on time and organized.
Now we are off to LAX-what time is it?? Bean-you...where is Bean?

Well I didn't really meet ya, I was takin pics of your truck when you pulled back around. I also was in front of ya in the 8500lb street class. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled about seeing the "Black widow" behind me. You're truck put on a good show! Especially since us Ford folks were way out numbered!
It Looked good Bunting Keep up the good work By next year I'm shure be even stronger. It's good to see the fords on top

The Bean didn't make the flight-something about wrong turns and lines at the scurity check point-haven't heard from him since he said there were no more flights until Monday.....all sold out. If anyone sees a Bean wandering around LA with an orange TN Volunteers hat, give him a lift.

That was a long day for me, I left my house at 3am sat morning, and finally got back home last night at 3:30am
That sheid truck was fast, just a smoker tractor with a truck body over it. Abybody know what their dragster did? I saw the ATS dragster go 8.4 @ 160mph
BBunting and BDP did a great job and have put together a very succesfull pulling setup in very little time, I have no doubt with some fine tuning and more pulls under their belts, they will have all the dodge boys crying.

[/ QUOTE ]Brian, Great meeting you and your team. Definitely worth the drive from Modesto to see that Ford run !
Also great to meet some of the members from this site, new faces(BBunting, Slydiesel, Uncool, SuperF350, Powersnorter) and repeats( Deerzilla, Machinest1, Maddog, Psychostroker, Bean, BBD, Weweld).
M1, I think the Cummins guys are already getting nervous. Now if the D-Max guys would run #2 only, they would be out of the way as well(DPS Dually )!
