To answer the numerous posts I have recieved at one time & doing it here for all to see.
We have tentativly planned to leave around 5'ish from Needville on Thursday, April 24. Last year it took me 9 hours to get there thanks to the Houston 5:00 traffic jam that stretched all the way to Conroe. I am going to go through Katy to FM 2920, through Tomball and come out just South of Loop 306 in Conroe on I-45 and then to Dallas. If we actually leave at 5:00, that should put me in Conroe around 6:30 - 7:00 or so. If I still have the pop-up, I won't pull it over 60-65 mph as that translates to about 186 mph for the little trailer tires!!

We're in. I take the Hardy toll road and come up that way. We may need to try to meet at one of the rest stops along the way for people to hook up outside of the Houston traffic. I normally go 70, but I can hang at 65 (save a little fuel in the process too)
with the way you packed your truck for the HAPS vendor day, I'm surprised you haven't found a way to put that pop up in the back

ROTFLMAO!!!
It didn't get packed as good for the ride home. We were in a hurry as the hunger pains were settin' in and didn't have to rain proof everything. But, the bed of the truck is reserved for the daughters play toys!!
Dude, we had to miss the RV show yesterday too. Got Dale to the airport, and Denise got pretty sick. So we had to go straight home. Maybe for the best, though. Gotta get those injectors in first, get RV second. So it looks like the pop up is staying, at least for a little while.
Is the timing gonna work for ya'll? We definately can't leave before 3:30 as the little one won't be out of school yet but we could possibly leave an hour or so either way. Let me know.

It all depends on when Sheri gets off work. I'm trying to talk her in to getting off at lunch. I'm taking off at lunch, so by 2:00pm I can be ready. How long do you think it would take you to get to Conroe or even Huntsville?
I won't have my kids that weekend so it will just be us two.
Overall I think the timing is great. To me the earlier the better but I don't really have the time constraints you do. Not a problem though.
I don't go to the RV shows. Mine is an older trailer but will have to last. I don't even want to think about spending money for another one.
Hope Denise is feeling better.
Later

I don't think Mike is the one we have to worry about.
His wife fits in with us pretty good and she likes to party!!
The group there with them (Kevin, Dale, Denise & I) could have persuaded anyone to come along with us!! He will have a blast at Texoma!!

Mike, Glad ya going to make it!
I don't think my truck can do 65mph. I'll have to try and see if I can make it go that slow
I don't think we'll be heading out until Friday morning. If any body is heading out then and want to tag along with us let me know. And I don't drive to slow even with the trailer in tow
And I didn't even know it
Mark,
I don't know yet, when I'm leaving, but I might fall in behind you so I can draft
