A few of us meant Swamp at DPC last Thursday evening. What a wealth of info he has to offer all (most of this is on his web page). Not to mention what he has in development for the 7.3's, the 6.0's and maybe even the Dodges.
The DPC shop!! Ted and his crew have done excellent in putting the DPC shop together. Not only is the office area A/C'd, the shop is completely A/C'd also. Clean and well organized. There will be plenty of pictures posted next week of the DPC shop and Truck show.
Now to finishing up cleaning my truck.
Here is the update of the DPC "U Calling Me Out" truck show. The early morning showers slowed some of the trucks showing up, but the final truck count was between 55-60. Plus another 20+ cars. It was a great day for DPC and HAPS. Lots of food and lots of people.
The DPC trophies are unbelievable. All the first place trophies where over 4 feet tall. HAPS did well in both the 2 wheel drive class and the 4 wheel drive class. I won the 2 wheel drive class, in the 4 wheel drive class, HAPS Cliff McSwain won first place and Bob Corbin (Nibroc) won second. The custom class was the hardest class. The top two ended with a tie, but with the tie breaker being the crowd, the V-10 Ford Superduty (Delock) won. Delock was one of the winners last year at the HAPS truck show. A very nice Superduty.
All in all, a very good day for DPC and HAPS. Ted (Mekong) along with his wife (Mia) and the DPC crew put on an excellent event. 120+ lbs of crawfish, 40+ lbs of chicken, brisket, hot dogs and all the drinks included. Plus free T-shirts for entering the show.
Thanks to all the HAPS families that entered or came by and thanks to the DPC crew for inviting us.
Thank you HAPS, Brad Webster(HAPS), Leah, Bob, his wife Beverly, Ben (Shooter Station) and everyone for coming out and supporting the DPC Group. A special thanks to my lovely wife, the DPC Gang, our #1 mechanic and our crawfish man. We also have to thank our very special guest Dr. Performance's "Dad" for taking his time out to join us. It turned out great. We're sure to plan this event next year, rain or shine. Thank you again for all your support.
If I've left anyone's name out, please forgive me. I'm still worn out from yesterday.
Stats:
65 Trucks
25 Cars
250 People in and out
Thanks,
Ted and the DPC Gang.

Ted,
Thanks for hosting, we had a great time seeing the 'other things' that can be done with trucks
I'm thinking I should do mine like the white F150 with flames.

It was nice seeing you both again. A great time for all and some very nice trucks.
PM or email me your mailing address. I have a little something for you.
Sorry I missed this event, it sounds like it was fun. Ted, I heard a rumor from someone that was there that your red truck is putting down 1000+ HP. Is this true? The reason I ask is that I was very seriously thinking about MM's, but Lott seems to only be making around 600+ HP (according to his latest dyno numbers). I would like to know what it takes to hit those kind of numbers and any advice you might have. Thanks!

It was nice meeting you and your daughter Saturday. You've done a lot of work on your truck for only having it one week.
We hope to see you at more HAPS events.
Alright you HAPS guys, if you see a solid black 350 CC with South Texas Outfitters guard on the front coming through Houston on 59 Friday evening, get outta the way, I've been driving for 17 hours
Lawdog
I hope your timing in Houston misses the Friday rush
hour(s) traffic.
Be safe and have a good trip.
Hey Lawdog,

I'm coming all the way through on 59 (pretending I'm at Talladega, which puts me in the mindset to drive that stretch of road) all the way to Rosenburg, which is where I'm staying for a few days until we kick over to Austin. You gonna be around at lunchtime Saturday?
